Daniel 9:24-27 is God’s answer to Daniel’s prayer from verses 1 to 23, but God’s response goes far beyond the immediate circumstances and the freeing of Israel from Babylon to Israel’s ultimate and final restoration under Jesus the Messiah.
When we want to understand end-time prophecy, we have to look to the Jewish people. To determine where we are chronologically in relation to the rapture and end-time events, we have to look to Israel and specifically to Jerusalem and the Jewish people.
