The Attitude of Giving

2 Corinthians 9:7 - Let every man give according to the purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or out of necessity, for God loves a cheerful giver.

-Emphasize the importance of giving with a joyful and willing heart, not out of

obligation or pressure.



The Freedom of Choice

-Encourage individuals to prayerfully consider their giving, recognizing that it's a

personal decision guided by their relationship with God.



The Abundance of Blessings That Come In Giving

2 Corinthians 9:8 - God is able to make all grace abound toward you, so that you, always having enough of everything, may abound to every good work.

-We can be confident in the promises of God's abundance when we give with a cheerful

heart and how our giving can lead to blessings for others.



PRACTICALITIES OF GIVING


A. Before you come and bring your tithe/offering (pray and ask God what you should give).


B. When you give. Thank Him for the ability. Thank Him for the finances to give. Do it with honor and worship in your heart.


C. Give in faith with expectation.



CONCLUSION


Encourage the congregation to approach their giving with joy, freedom, and an expectation of God's blessings.
