Bible Memorization: Why And How

Bible memorization used to be a staple in the church. However, it doesn’t seem to be a popular subject today, but that doesn't mean it is unimportant. In this post, we will see the benefits of memorizing scripture and give practical tips for how to memorize scripture effectively.

Jeremiah 15:16 - Your words were found and I ate them. And Your word became to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart, for I am called by Your name, O Lord God of Hosts.

As Christians, if we want to grow in our faith and be strong in our relationship with God, we need to make scripture memorization a habit. We need to be intentional and take the time to review and memorize Bible verses and passages.
